Grids & Snapping

In Workbook, grids are always available to you on the page. To make them visible, or active, right click on your page and select “grids”.

You can choose between different types of grid ("normal" is square; alternatively try our isometric grids!).

You can adjust the size of the grid.

Most importantly, you can switch the grid’s visibility on, or off.  You can do this independently of whether you have enabled “snap to grid” in any way.

Snapping is popular to align objects on your canvas, for tessellation activities, or just to make your lines and figures look tidier.   You don’t have to have the grid visible to enjoy snapping!
